I have been a member of the Committee since its inception as the interim FPC in the spring of 2011. Your Chairman suggested I reflect on my years on the Financial Policy Committee, and I will do that, but I will spend most of my time looking forward-giving my views on some broad priorities for the FPC in coming years. It is a pleasure to be able to speak to the Society of Business Economists.
